[C320-list] Anchor Windless (maybe replace)

Hi,
I bought an old chain gypsy for $25 and had a welder attach it to the end my stock drum - note it has to match your chain diameter to grip properly.
Works well despite a slight offset. Hardest part of the project was pulling the old drum off - used a pretty heavy puller and a lot of elbow grease. I also removed the windless and replaced the gear oil at that time. There is a very helpful write up on the site describing the removal process .

I have not tried it yet but may do that if windless project is just not worth it.??

When it gets to the chain I just pull the chain onto the drum and continue until the anchor is nested. Now over the years the chrome is off the drum in places but I expect this to become the next owners problem. Anchor is a 15 Kg CQR clone.

I can still haul it myself. Most upper body workout I typically get on long cruises. I remember previous threads that mentioned that they no longer make a replacement Capstan and I would have to replace the whole windlass???? Anybody done that recently? Budgeting/estimated/rough cost?
