[C320-list] Aqualift Muffler Leak

My muffler developed a crack at the joint of the intake nozzle and body of muffler. I sent muffler to Catalina and they built a replacement which fit great. When I replaced hose from elbow I added a short section of “hump” hose to help dampen vibration.

Nothing was coming from the packing gland. I dried up all the water and ran the engine again and saw the water build up around the muffler again. The muffler valve or the hose are not leaking.

With it on the dock, i put some water in it and pressurized as best I could but still no obvious leak. The leak when it was on the boat was fairly slow. My guess is that it may be the screw holes that others have experienced. It definitely wasn’t the hose. Any suggestions welcome.
