[C320-list] Aqualift Muffler Leak

It wasn’t the packing gland. I replaced the packing yesterday and, when watching prop shaft turn to check the tightness, I noticed the small amount of water around the aft side of the muffler. Nothing was coming from the packing gland. I dried up all the water and ran the engine again and saw the water build up around the muffler again. The muffler valve or the hose are not leaking.

I’m going to epoxy the screw holes and see if that works.

Thanks again,
Mike P.

With it on the dock, i put some water in it and pressurized as best I could but still no obvious leak. The leak when it was on the boat was fairly slow. My guess is that it may be the screw holes that others have experienced. It definitely wasn’t the hose. Any suggestions welcome.
