So, yeah…that Parmax 4 is definitely not designed to do the job.   I
replaced my bilge pump with the same diaphragm pump after 24 years of
reliable service.     Your domestic water pump is also probably due to go
soon anyhow.   I’d keep the Parmax 4 as an on board spare and impress all
your friends when yours dies at anchor and it takes you all of 15 minutes
to swap in the replacement pump.
