Check that it is compatible. The i50 is likely NMEAA 2000 and as I recall the depth speed(paddle wheel) are separate wired. I needed to add a gadget to convert the Raymarine sensors to NMEAA200 when I did the upgrade.

Subject: [C320-list] Autohelm Tridata replacement

My 1995 c320 has a display for depth and speed at the front of the cockpit that is very hard to read. The LCD is very dim. It has the words “Autohelm Tridata” on the front. The transducer seems OK (the depth is what I expect), and I get speed from GPS so don’t care too much about speed. Does anyone know if a Raymarine “i50 tridata” display can be used with the old transducers. Googling about seems to suggest so - but at about $400 for the new display I would feel more comfortable with confirmation!

Thanks
