Not hard to do. Securely sew new line to old and place one wrap of tape over the joint. Pull slowly but firmly through sheaves. Some back and forth motion helps.

I need to replace most if not all of my running rigging. I’ve not had any success with getting on the local riggers schedule. Is this a viable DIY project? If so, where could I get some good instructions and tips?
