[C320-list] Exhaust question

I don't  have the same bilge pump you do, but I am aware that without a backflow preventer valve in the discharge, water can be pumped but then flows backward into the bilge again when the pump stops. So, water is detected again and it trys to pump out again.
Another issue with your pump is internal valves that sometimes gets debris in it that prevents proper sealing/operation. There is a kit available to easily rebuild the pump.
Obviously the above deals only with potential pump issues, not leak sources.

But the other issue is the bilge runs intermittently every 15 min or so - so something is leaking - but maybe that in the water system?-,they are checking on that as well.
