Denny,
If you can find a sail maker that will go out with you on your boat. We had Rick McCready from UK, loft is in Newport, go out with us on our last boat. Not only did we pick up a wealth of information but our sails were not as bad as we thought and for a couple hundred (well maybe a few hundred) we got them back in service. If you have to buy a new sail youi are getting closae to the best time for discounts. Things slow up in the winter and the best discounts start with the shows.

Subject: [C320-list] 135 Jib

I had a beautiful sail yesterday in San Diego Bay. Temp about 75 degrees
with 20 knot winds. unfortunately my "Mature" 1993 jib was not up to the task.
Some damage occurred and I'm afraid it may not be repairable. So, I may
need to replace. I haven't had to buy sails yet so I could use some good
advice. I would appreciate any help available.
