[C320-list] furling line

Our jib furling line is starting to show signs of wear ( 94').  It has no core in the first half so it seem to set nice and flat on the drum.  Is it better to replace it with the same type of line? If so, where can I get it? Or does regular line work just as well?  Does anyone know about what (furling line) the length is?
