Re: the "split shaft coupler," I just notice the following in Jeff H's reply: "With a split flange coupler, you don't need a keyway and it's much easier to
remove and adjust the flange."  However, the one I saw on e-bay did have a slot for a key.  Wouldn't it be recommended to fit it with a key if the coupler has the slot?
