Hi, Our bimini has tubing instead of straps for support. It makes it easier to get on and off the boat, not having the strap blocking entrance to the cockpit. There is also a tubing support attached to the stern rail seat. This makes the seating a little bit uncomfortable. Kathleen Shadowfax #407
