[C320-list] 12v Socket on the Switch Panel at the Chart Table

Hi All
I want to plug a Halogen Spotlight into the 12v (Cigarette Lighter) Socket on the Switch Panel at the Chart Table.
My concern is a Halogen Spotlight too high a wattage for this 12v socket?
Any advice, appreciated

PS the Hallogen has an extension lead so that the light is used by the forward hand when night manoeuvering arounded crowded anchorages.
