[C320-list] Four questions

Our Yanmars do not have glo-plugs or preheaters and should not be hard to start. If hard to start, I would change filters and bleed the injectors.

It doesn't take much air in the line to make it hard to start (if not impossible) and clogged filters will do the same.

Subject: [C320-list] Four questions

More from a novice 320 owner...

1. Changing the oil in the cone clutch: When checking the level, it doesn't look like there are marks on the dip stick. Only a line about 3/8's of an inch from the end. Is this the full line? How full should the clutch be filled?

2. Starting: This Yanmar does not come with a pre-heater, and is somewhat hard to start. If you turn the key on, and wait awhile, does this perform the pre-heat function? I've never seen a marine diesel without a pre-heater!

3. More on the gate stanchion: I've located the four 7/16" mounting bolts. Hard to get to but! Is there another bolt beneath the rear leg of the stanchion? If so, any idea what size it is?

4. Owner manual: I recall someone mentioning on-line access to the manual. Can you repeat where it may be found?

Thanks,
