[C320-list] West Marine CPP-Plus?

I wonder if repainting every season is even necessary?  My dad always 
did, but that was old ('60's forward) school, I think.  I'm mulling 
this over because I saw no growth (used Interlux Fiberglass Bottomkote 
ACT), and I still see paint on the hull.  I believe that with the 
paints for fresh water, you need a new coat with fresh biocide in it 
each season, but this is an ablative paint, for salt water.
