[C320-list] whisker Pole vs Spinnaker Pole and diameter sizes

Hi All
I wish to urgently make a *whisker Pole or Spinnaker Pole* for our C320
#1084.
I only plan on poling out the Head Sail.
Can you advise on whether the whisker pole is all I need, and diameter /
length it is recommended to be?

Also the Mast attachment: height above deck?
