You can verify that the bulb is OK by removing the bulb from one of the lights that still works and inserting the bulb that is suspect. If it works, then you know the issue is in the contacts or wiring. I'd recommend trying a light sanding of the contacts with emory cloth or fine sandpaper if you can...that will help remove any corrosion that might have been there.

The bulbs are ok, so I cleaned the contacts with acetone. Is this the right stuff to use? Still no luck. Guess my next move is to remove the 2 screws and clean the wire contacts. I also noticed some of the lights had o rings and some didn't. I found that, even thought the light is out, the bulb may be OK. Once you pry off the cap, try cleaning the contacts and putting the same bulb back in. I found this works almost every time and have yet to need to replace a bulb. One one occasion, I also had to remove the two screws that hold the unit in place and then clean the wire contacts. I believe you can examine the bulb to look for broken filaments to be sure it is actually a bad bulb.> > Martin Raphael > > Rhapsody #108> > > > > > > >> From: Ronniew326 at aol.com> Date: Thu, 14 Aug 2008 08:25:57 -0400> To: C320-List at Catalina320.com> Subject: Re: [C320-list] Interior lights>> Hi Holly,>> On my boat (#326) the white lens caps need to be pried off with the edge of> a knife in order to get at the bulbs.
