There is very little room for letters of any size on the transom for a boat
name. We have our our hailing port on the transom below the "swim
platform". MUSKEGON MI fits nicely in 4 inch block letters there. Our boat
name is in script on the port and starboard side with 8 inch capitals and 4
inch lower case letters starting just forward of the stern rails.

Subject: [C320-list] Graphics Sizing
The prior owner never added a boat name to the transom. With our boat 500
miles away, I am trying to work with a graphics company, but am not sure of
the proper letter size that will fit the transom. Is there a template of the
transom somewhere with dimensions? I know it is a matter of individual
choice, but I would appreciate any suggestions or horror stories. Have
many of you opted to add the name to the port and starboard sides and just
the port information on the transom?
Thanks,
