I had a similar experience when some black overspray from a project quite a ways away that landed on several boats, including ours, when they were dew covered. Dew dried and the stains stayed. The best remover was the DEF orange industrial grease cutter that I think I got at Home Depot. Got it all off with some work. Second best was Black Streak Remover (I think Meguires). Several cleaner waxes didn't work at all. Good luck.

Help!!!   I just discovered that the guy parked next to me in the yard had sanded off about 30 years of blue bottom paint, and our 2001 320 is covered in blue dust.  It is in every nook and cranny.  I hosed off the surface dust, but some surfaces appear to be stained.  I thought I would check in with this group before I do anything stupid.

We bought this boat at the tail end of last season and she was in MINT condition.   Now she has a blue tint.

And yes, the guy in the yard..... he is one of our dock mates and a friend.   I want to smack him upside the head, but the friendship shall remain.

What do you suggest????
