[C320-list] Hot water tank bypass

I may have asked this last year...  However wanted to query the group again.

Has anyone sucessfully bypassed their hot water tank without major surgery?  

When I talked to the marina and a few other sources, they indicated that if I had the metric based plastic water lines (red and blue) I was basically out of luck from a kit standpoint.

If anyone has sucessfully done this on a later model 320 (2000s) I would love to hear about it.

Its a LOT of time and antifreeze to winterize with the tank in mix.  However again, not interested in major surgery.
