[C320-list] Sticky White Paint in C320 Lockers

I did not remove it. I use a product called 'Hypervent' that I purchased for
under the mattresses (highly recommend by the way) and I used the extra to
lay against the hull. From previous posts, it is my understanding that it is
a two part epoxy paint and they didn't use enough hardener--however I could
be wrong on this as I haven't verified it myself with the Catalina. However,
the symptoms to add up to a lack of hardener. If anyone else on the list
knows for sure, I'm sure they will weigh in.

Jon

So did you not remove the uncured paint?

Also, it sounds like the white paint is epoxy-based unlike my assumption of
an enamel-based paint. I wonder what type of solvent I can use to remove an
uncured epoxy-based paint that will not damage the hull?

Thanks for the info.
