[C320-list] Valves & pump out procedure

Kevin,

The other valve is for the Head Sink.  It doesn't make any difference as to 
the position of the valve on the head during the pump out as far as I know. 
The vent tube should be able to replace the air in he holding tank as the 
tank is being emptied.   I often open the valve and pump water into the bowl 
and on into the holding tank while the tank is being pumped, to sort of 
rinse the piping between the bowl and the tank.   Not sure if it makes any 
difference but we sometimes try to not pump a  lot of water through the 
system in an effort to keep from filling the tank to quickly.
As far as the seacocks', I have them all open while on board.  I do remove 
the key form the ignition and place it in the top drawer while the engine 
seacock is closed as I leave the boat.   That way when I return, it helps me 
remember to open the seacock when I get the key.
