[C320-list] Raymarine e7 Chartplotter AIS Radar project / Mast work

I'm going to install a Raymarine e7 chart plotter with AIS and Radar in
a nav pod enclosure (See parts below). I'm going to get a AIS enabled
vhf radio instead of buying an AIS box. I'm also going to integrate my
ST4000 auto pilot and instruments using the converter kit e22158
~$100.00. My rigger recommends pulling the mast. If got Charleston self
furling mast and he says it is very tight getting the wires down where
the mast meets the deck. The cost to pull the mast is $350. 

I bird has done some damage and my windpoint is tweaked. I may also have
a problem with the anemometer windpoint. What should I consider doing if
my mast is coming down?  I'm thinking about doing an LED anchor light. 

Please let me know of things I should lookout for.
