[C320-list] Genoa reefing line cleat

Hi All,

I really like our solution.  It originally came from Annie Bennett, in fact
these are her pictures, but our install is exactly the same. 

It works very well, has zero risk of damaging the rail and took me all of 10
minutes to install.  We drilled 3 holes, laid down a bead of silicone and
have a small backing plate made of scrap starboard, but large washers would
do.  We haven't had any need to alter it in any way since 2002 when we
installed it.  Works perfectly.

This has a fair lead into the winch which is handy for letting the genoa out
or controlled reefing without getting your hands destroyed.

When the sail is reefed doesn't this put a lot of pressure on the rail?
