[C320-list] Batteries

A maintenance free battery is the same on the inside as a regular capped battery so the charger will see no differance...untill the water goes below the top of the plates, then the battery is toast. I would never go with a maintenance free battery in anything. A maintenance free battery is nothing more than a regular flooded battery without the option to top off evaporated or boiled off water/electrolite. This is just my opinion though I'm sure there are many others...Bruce.

I need to replace one of my  4D batteries.  Does anyone know if it would create a problem, charger wise, having one flooded cell battery and the other battery being a sealed "maintenance free" type of battery?  I plan on replacing the flooded cell with a sealed battery when it needs replacing later.
Both batteries would have the same amount of power, so I don't think it would be a problem.
The charger is a Charles model 5000 if I remember correctly.

Thanks
