Not exactly sure what to expect with the water levels this summer. Last
Fall a friend of mine actually hit bottom as he was coming through the
channel in a fin keel C&C 33. There has been lots of online chatter from my
friends at the White Lake Yacht Club with concerns about what might happen.
The municipal marina has been awarded $185,000 to dredge, which might be a
bonanza for the municipality for slip owners who can't get into slips at
other marinas. My hunch is that the channel will also be dredged (because
the channel gives access to a public marina). The marina in Saugatuck
,however, will not be dredged because their is no municipal marina.

Fortunately for us, our C320 has a wing keel.

I've been to Whitehall with my C25 many years ago. GREAT AREA!!!!

I have a fin C320 therefore my questions is, can I even get into that lake
from
Lake Michigan any more and if I can are the harbors deep enough. If I
remember
the harbors are pretty shallow.
