[C320-list] Sound-Noise insulation

Skippers,  Check the Summit Racing web site.  Type in heat and sound 
insulation in the search box.  They sell all sorts of sound deadening 
products that are used for building race cars, street rods etc.  The boom 
mat squares are rated for high temperatures as are some of the other 
insulation products Summit carries.
Jegs Performance Parts also has some, but a much smaller selection compared 
to Summit.
This project is on my growing winter layup list.

I have a 1995 C320 with the same vintage Perkins M30. The noise is 
unbearable, even though the engine runs well (except at low RPMs, when it 
vibrates a lot). There is no insulation. Could someone suggest a supplier, 
and how much material I would need?
