Have you looked at the 'Tufted Topper'?  We don't have one (we have the full spring mattress), but our friends who do like it very well.

Have you replaced your cabin mattress or fortified it with a topper mattress? Currently, we sleep in the aft cabin on the original mattress fortified with "egg carton" foam from a camp store. It's often cold enough on Lake Michigan to sleep in a double bag atop the foam.
