[C320-list] Anyone re-engined with a Vetus?

A friend has a 320, 1996 with Westerbeke that's done 3500 hrs and various issues with it are making him consider re-engine-ing it

As well as Yanmar he is looking at Vetus M329 as apparently it's much easier to retrofit into the Westerbeke space. 

Has anyone done this and have good or bad experiences to report?
