[C320-list] Outhaul cam cleat or rope clutch?

Yes, I think your boat was modified. On many boats the outhaul is
cleated through a jammer at the forward end of the boom where the
outhaul emerges, and it is not led to the deck. My boat with hull number
653 not far from yours has this arrangement, and it is the one described
in the factory manual for my boat. So where is the outhaul cleat
precisely on your boat? And precisely what kind of cleat is it? That
kind of detail would be helpful here. I've been thinking about the same
modification.

Seems to me that a rope clutch would be overkill since loads on the
outhaul aren't that great and there is good purchase inside the boom.

Related question: Is it possible to replace the outhaul lines without
taking the boom apart to get access to the internal blocks? This is by
far the lowest quality line on my boat.
