[C320-list] Xantex truecharge2 40 Fault

I bought a Promariner PronauticP 40 amp smart charger for $313 on  Amazon, plus  a remote monitor panel to replace my original Newmar boat charger.  So far it has been great....very quiet and cool.  My original charger ran very hot.  So, I was propping up the v-berth cushion and wood cover above it and running a fan into the compartment when charging in my slip.  This was not convenient.

Xantrex will not repair these machines and their solution was buy a new one. I have had two of them and will never have another. I bought one of the new award winning pro mariners. Been working for a few months now and is a true SMART charger. No dip switches

I power cycled the ac shore power many times and still the fault was not cleared. The manual said to call tech-support. Instead I googled this issue and found the article below. The solution was to power down the AC input to the charger AND disconnect the charger from the battery. This fixed the problem.
