[C320-list] oil gauge wiring question

I’m currently working down my long list of projects on my new-to-me 320. Here’s one that’s stumping me at the moment:

For those of you with a Yanmar pod for your engine gauges and controls, which color wire goes to the sender post on the oil pressure gauge?

The sketchy diagram that came with my boat shows a silver/black (I think) wire for oil pressure to the alarm and warning light, but no wire going to the oil pressure gauge.

Now, as far as I can tell, there is only one oil pressure sender that operates both the buzzer/warning light and the oil pressure gauge. So, should I just extend the silver/black wire from the buzzer to the gauge?

All of this is complicated by my suspicion that the oil pressure gauge is cooked. (The warning light operates properly, but the gauge doesn’t.) So I have to wait for a new one from Catalina Direct to continue on.

Thanks in advance.
