[C320-list] Home Made Achilles Foot pump Hose Fill Adapter

 The Achilles inflatable boat pump hose adapter part number C5107 has a
hose barb end that fits into a ¾ inch inside diameter  pump hose (Bravo or
Airhead Foot Pumps).  The other valve smooth  end is outside diameter
opening of 1 inch.  The Achilles valve is Part C342GYThis is a different
part than the C5102 which does not have hose barbs.  The C5107 costs about
$30.00 at defender.com.   It is possible to create your own adaptor with a
¾ inch hose barb coupler and a 4 inch segment of 1 inch hose (a bit bigger
that 1” OD may be more snug). This adaptor should also fit Zodiac Z60053
and the Novurania old style value.  The fit of the homemade valve is not
quite as snug as the original Achilles part but is good enough to achieve
maximum pressure.
