If you don't want to try and bend it, check with the parts dept at Catalina Yachts.  I got one a couple of years ago for my 1995 320

Greetings fellow C320 owners.  I ordered a replacement port gate
stanchion for my '99 C320 (#660) a year ago from Catalina Direct and am
just getting around to the install.  I had to remove some fiberglass to
access the bolts but finally got the old one off. It wasn't until then
that I realized the new stanchion is not the same as the original.   The
tall upright base holes line up but the lower "h" shaped part is
narrower and lower.  On the original, the lower leg is angled whereas
the new one is vertical.  Here are images showing the difference
<https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19oRGlyWshUXXYwMr6LjtRY7HnwTaUvXZ?usp=sharing>.
Catalina Direct only shows one type of gate stanchion for the 320s
<https://www.catalinadirect.com/index.cfm/product/1485_704/gate-stanchion-port-highlow.cfm>.

The height difference doesn't bother me but the lower stanchion plate is
~1" short of the original holes.  I might be able to bend it but then
the plate itself would not be flat.  I'd hate to have to drill new
holes.  Has anyone else run into this problem?
