[C320-list] Sail size for racing

Sara,
we don't race, but I did years ago and my racing experience is reflected in
my sailing practice. Commitment came with a stock Catalina 135 and in 17-20
knots of wind I can trim her to point inside the 30 degree marks apparent,
make 7 knots or better without reefing the main or furling the jenny. We
have an asymmetric spinnaker and use it so rarely that I don't carry it
aboard any longer.

If I were to buy an extra sail, it would be a 110 because where we cruise,
we are more likely to see over twenty knots than we are to see less than
ten.

Fair winds,
Chris Burti
