[C320-list] Shelves in aft berth hanging locker

Hi Bruce,

I recently put shelves in my aft berth hanging locker. The locker holds so
much more now and is very versatile.

I measured, cut, and trimmed to fit cardboard templates for each shelf and
then cut and prepared the three shelves at home. It was fairly easy
project and well worth time and effort. I used 1/2” aromatic cedar
plywood, which look just like the left and back side of the existing
locker. I put iron-on veneer edging on the facing edge of the plywood and
stained it to a cedar color. It turned out great.

I started with the lower shelf even with the bottom part of the opening and
created a hinged door to store a small vacuum cleaner and other items
below. I then put two additional shelves above spaced around 10 or so
inches apart. I mounted a few small support blocks on the left and back
sides and allowed the inward sloping fiberglass hull on the right to
support that edge of each shelf. Clear silicon on right side edge fixed
the shelf into position.

You can see before and after pictures starting at this link.
