300' will easily fit in, we have 260' feet of chain and rope and it only takes up half of the well. Go to your chandler and ask for anchor line, and then get onto YouTube and teach yourself to splice.

Hi all?new member here, and new owner of a C320. The anchor rode on my boat is in bad shape, so I?m getting ready to replace it. I?m looking at 300? of chain/rode, because I plan to occasionally act as Race Committee boat for my yacht club?s regattas, and our start/finish mark is at a 50? depth.

So, here are my questions: First, will 300? of 3-strand chain/rode (I?m looking at Lewmar pre-spliced) fit in a Mk I anchor locker, assuming only 30? or so of chain? I?m planning to hold the anchor on a bow roller.

Second, any suggestions on a good place to buy? I know rode isn?t cheap, but I?d like to avoid overpaying.
