[C320-list] Which Racor Filter?

David;

I’ve been using a R24T 10 micron element (same number, but T instead of S), made for the Racor 220 series filters. I also use a 10 micron filter on the engine. When I got the boat, it had the 2 micron filter on the Racor and it did clog often. But then, I had a very dirty fuel tank with so much slime that it even clogged the 10 micron filter once. I’ve since replaced my fuel tank and that problem is solved. I wasn’t able to find an engine block filter finer than 10 micron, so that may indicate that the injectors can handle particles up to 10 microns...

For example, there is what appears to be the same filter that only filters down to 30 microns. It leaves particles in the fuel that are too big and may clog the engine's filter. Another version filters to only 2 microns. This is filtering particles from the fuel that are so small it may clog almost immediately, leaving you without power soon after replacement.”
