[C320-list] Speed seal impeller cover

I have a speed seal cover and this company when out of business so can’t get parts. The paper gasket I have does not work. I heard some make their own gasket using something like. Permatex waterpump gasket maker. Is their any problem making a gasket with this product such as future removal of the cover of the impeller pump. Thanks for any insights
