Thanks for the quick responses.

 It is flax so that’s comforting. I’m away from the boat a good bit so I did not want to leave it if a problem.

> It really depends on the type of stuffing used. If it is old style graphite flax packing, it is not unusual for it to drip at rest and what you have sounds about right. If Gortex packing, you would need to tight it up a bit and eliminate the drip at rest with a 2 drip per minute running and a warm to the touch, but not hot stuffing box.
