[C320-list] Harken Traveler Sticking

If you have a Harken traveller I doubt if it is original equipment. Why can’t you trim it from the cockpit side of the dodger? I replaced the car and all blocks on my Garhauer traveller last year and it made a world of difference in how easy it is to adjust from the cockpit under load. My understanding is that the Garhauer traveller on the early boats had some problems and yours may have been replaced.

To get it to slide any direction requires walking around the dodger, up to the traveler itself and pulling on the line/pullies from in front of the dodger then going back to the cockpit to lock it into the cam cleat. Wondering if this might be an issue only on my boat with my line or perhaps the traveler and pullies need lubrication of some kind? Anybody have any insight on this subject? How do yours work?
