The photo is a fuel shut off that my friend and C320 member David Cushman has on his boat.

I must say that I can't imagine NOT having it. If you have space to fit one, I can say that it is very convenient and makes bleeding the line a little easier since you know that no air has gone upstream in the fuel line.
