[C320-list] Disabling leaky water heater

Hi All,

My water heater leaks and I’m in the process of  disconnecting it. I plan to replace it at a later time.

I’ve drained the beast, temporarily joined the hot to the cold, and disconnected it from ac power (snipped the wires at the unit and put on wire nuts). 

My question is, can I leave the engine heating side of the system connected as-is without issue?
