Has anyone replaced any of the switches in the electrical panel on a 1990s
model 320, and if so, are there any tricks or problems I should be aware of?
I am thinking about adding a masthead tri-color/anchor light to my 1995
model 320. Because I would still need to use the deck level navigation
lights when running under power, I would need some way to switch from one
set of nav lights to the other. I could either keep the existing on/off
switch in the electrical panel, and add a two-position switch somewhere else
on the panel to select where the power goes, or replace the existing switch
with a three-position switch that would select which set of lights when you
turn it on or off. But I'm not sure how tricky it would be to remove and
replace a switch in the middle of the row of switches in the panel.
Is there anything I should know when deciding which approach to take? Any
insight would be greatly appreciated.
