[C320-list] Asymmetrical spinnaker

Tony - We just had a new roller furling main built by North. They gave us a late summer deal - essentially boat show pricing and it was as competitive as on-line options.

More importantly, you get service. They came out and measured the rig in advance. They expedited the build and I got a new main in under 4 weeks. They hand delivered the sail and installed it. Initially, the strapping at the head and clew were slightly over-built and the roller furling was not smooth. The made corrections and came back for a second install in a matter of days. Working perfect and excellent sail shape and draft.

Service could not have been better, or more professional. This was North Loft in Annapolis.

For an asym. spin may not be as important to you, but if you mail order and there is any issue, resolution might be a lot tougher......

Good morning, Tony.

When faced with the same question, I chose FX Sails.

While living in Seattle, almost in the shadow of a North loft, I was pleased with the FX service and choices. In the past I had used FX for both 150 and mainsail.

I have purchased a North Sail sock, which makes launching and snuffing so much easier, especially when shorthanded!

Hi,
We are in the Pacific NW Vancouver/Seattle area and looking to purchase a cruising Asym.
Looking online i see that online shops like direct sails, precision sails are at least 30% less than local shops like North. Interested to hear your advice or recommendations Thanks Tony
